JUSTIN H. SETTLES

Born and raised in Memphis, TN, Justin Settles has forged a career as an economist for the Federal government that spans more than 10 years. He has also performed work in this capacity for local municipal studies. His experience as an economist has also taken him into the classroom as Adjunct Professor. From 2013–2019 he instructed Microeconomics and Macroeconomics at The Graduate SchoolUSA.

In 2014, Justin Settles formed C. Hilliard Holdings to pursue strategic investments in markets which he identified were positioned to experience long term growth. The Company’s investment portfolio includes residential rental properties as well as ownership stakes in Marjorie’s Cookie Shop (MCS) and Dream Maker Investments (DMI). GOtwentyfo® is a fully-owned subsidiary of C. Hilliard Holdings.

Marjorie’s Cookie Shop is a gourmet bakery based in Memphis, TN with nationwide distribution. DMI is an investment company organized for the purpose of identifying and acquiring undervalued assets. Its portfolio consists of equity shares and digital assets. With construction of the first location underway, GOtwentyfo aims to become a premier name in the convenience retailing industry.

Mr. Settles earned a BA in Economics from The University of Tennessee (Knoxville) and an MA in Economics from The University of Mississippi.

Justin Settles is passionate about reversing generational poverty within communities of Color. He serves as volunteer Director of Prepared for the World, a 501(c)(3) whose mission is to empower youth to become leaders in their communities by emphasizing STEM, delivering workforce training, and engaging them in the issues they care about most. Some recent activities that Prepared for the World has delivered include organizing the distribution of school supplies, hosting a basketball clinic, youth mentoring, and supporting the efforts of vital nonprofit organizations in Memphis, TN and the area.
